The City of Henryetta has implemented an improvement to the city website designed to make public meeting information easier for residents and visitors to access.

In the past, agendas and meeting notices for the Henryetta City Council and the Henryetta Economic Development Authority (HEDA) were published as standard website posts. While this method provided the necessary information, it did not always offer the most convenient way for visitors to quickly locate upcoming meetings or view them in a structured format.

To enhance usability and transparency, the City has transitioned these notices to a dedicated Events Calendar system on the website. This updated approach allows meeting notices and agendas to be displayed in a clear calendar format, making it easier for the public to see upcoming meetings and important city-related events at a glance.

The new calendar format allows visitors to:

• View upcoming City Council meetings

• Access HEDA meeting schedules and agendas

• Browse city events by date or month

• Quickly locate important public meeting information in one place

Both the Henryetta City Council and HEDA monthly meetings are also broadcast live, allowing residents who cannot attend in person to stay informed and follow city discussions and decisions in real time. This update is part of the City’s ongoing effort to improve communication, transparency, and accessibility for the community.
